ANNUAL SPORTS CARNIVAL.
The annual spoils gathering of the Devonport Fire Brigade was held in the Doniain, Devonport, to-day. There were competitors from all the North Shore suburbs. Superintendent H. Follas was in charge of the arrangements, and the timekeepers were Messrs. C. Farquharson, A. J. Burrows and H. Whitley. Results: — '-• Gee and Handicap, 440.v.d«. —J. Hemingway, 525, '1; W.
