On'the"first charge, Best was remanded tp appear tp-mprrow. "This man is'an old offender, but he has "-one straight for the past 18 months/' said Chief Dptective Hammqnd about James Moloney, aged 00, who pleaded"guilty to tl|e tl]eft of a pair of trousers valued at 10/.' Mr. F. K. Hpjit said hp wpuld not punish accused, and convicted and discharged hiin. .
