PUKEKOHE SOCIAL CLUB.

Evidence of the increasing popularity of the Pukekolie Literary and Social Club was furnished on the occasion of the riarents' annual' banquet to mark the wind UP of the session. Upwards of 350 parents and members; were present, and the president, Lieut. E. •G. Moncrieff, presided. •He said the club had been m existence for seven years, during which tune the membership had increased from 80 to 230. He attributed the success of the club to the high standard of wholesome entertainment the--banquet a toast list was honoured, the various speakers paying a tribute to the work of the president.
