Hon. J. G. Coates to-day. . . '■ . TJio Dominion .totals felt from 51,408 to 50,930. The number in. partial employment under relief schemes were 32,964 on October 12, and 37,009 a week earlier. Part of tho decrease under this heading is due to a number of men standing off, owing to-the rationing of relief work to keep within the available funds, and part of it is due to the drafting of iinemployed into relief canips. Auckland figures, with the earlier totals shown in parentheses, are as follows,: —Registra'tions, 7030 (7190); parttime relief, 5772 (5841); unplaced, 1258 (1349).
