Kingsf ord Smith reports that ho is a very sad man. This is the first time he has "let his aeroplane down," and lie cannot understand what is the matter •with him except that the after effects of sunstroke were most disconcerting. He ihopes to be all right for an attempt at ;fche record the other way. The enforced delay at Milaa, Asia Minor, was possibly for the best, as he •believes that an. endeavour to continue ■while he was so sick might have been disastrous.
