(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
WHANGAREI, this day.
The Norwegian yacht Teddy, under the command of Mr. E. Tambs, arrived in Whangarei yesterday. Mr., Tambs is to give an address upon his world cruise under the auspices of the Whangarei Cruising dub. The yacht was met at Onerahi and towed to the town wharf by a Harbour Board launch. There was a large crowd to meet the visitor. A good trip was experienced to Whangarei and with the exception of being becalmed for one period of two hours good winds were met with.
