Steamer Sinks After Mishap in

New South Wales.

VESSEL'S STRANGE ACCIDENT,

SYDNEY, September 10.

The trawler Koraaga grounded on. a reef during the night at Shell Harbour. The captain and crew reached the shore in lifeboats, and local residents gave them shelter.

The crew were, amazed at seven this morning to see the Koraaga drifting south on an even keel, apparently little the worse for her experience. The captain stated that he had abandoned the trawler in the belief that she would become a total wreck, as she had 10ft of Tfrater in her holds.

The captain and two members of the crew rejoined the derelict this morning, but later were compelled to leave the Koraaga, • which sank at 3 p.m. a few miles from.Kiama. a
