SATURDAY'S HOCKEY.

UNIVERSITY MEETS SOMERVELL

FINE MATCH EXPECTED

The Auckland Men's Hockey Association will continue its postponed matches for the Devouport Shield on Saturday, on which day the fourth round of the competition will be entered upon. The two leaders in the competition are Someryea and University, and, in view of the fact that the pair clash at Western Springs Stadium to-morrow at 3 p.m., considerable interest should centre in what promises 10 be a splendid match. North Shore and Wesley will struggle for the decision on the ground at the earlier hour, when .North Shore should not have a great deal of difficulty in holding their opponents down. The third match in the competition will be staged at Remuera on No. 2 ground, at 3 p.m., the contestants, being St. Luke's and Mount Eden. Other grade games will also be played.
