TRENTHAM HORSES.

ENGAGED AT WANGANUI,

W. Marks left for Wanganui yesterday morning with Ciinabue and St. Roger. Normandy, trained by J. W. Lowe, and who was to have accompanied the pair, did not go. He suffered a split heel recently and the injury has _no_t made sufficient recovery to permit of his being raced nest week. H. Pritehard, with Royal Game, Shootist, Flower and possibly the Paper Money —Dame Winkie filly, leaves next Tuesday. Flower, who is to start in the Guineas,; and Shootist. will be ridden by S. Wilson, whose other engagements include St. Roger, Monsogne and perhaps Cimabue. H. Benge is also not leaving till Tuesday, -when ie will be taking Gay Court, Arrowzone and Valrewa. Benge states that H. Gray will not be riding Gay Court in the Maiden Race., as one of Mr. W. R. Kemball's horses (Aetaeon) is in the race. However, Gray may be on Arrowzone, in which case the horse will have to carry a few pounds overweight. J. W. McDowell has been engaged for Valrewa. It has-not been settled when Tobacco Laud and Princ-e Pombal shall leave. R. E. Coveny has not been definitely engaged for Tobacco Land yet, as he could not do the weight. E. A. Keesing will ride Prince Pombal in the Debutante Stakes. H. Gray will be required for the members of Mr; Kemball's team where the weights suit. P. Burgess will be on Hymgreat in the hurdles. R. J. MacMe is not attending the meeting, but is going South to Ashburfcon instead, wh,ere one of bis mounts will be Starshooter.

PAKURANGA HUNT. The annual point-to-point meeting of the Pakuranga Hunt Club, which was to have been held to-morrow, has been postponed until Saturday. September 19. The fixture will be held at Flat Bush, East Tamaki.
