ENGAGED AT WANGANUI,
W. Marks left for Wanganui yesterday morning with Ciinabue and St. Roger. Normandy, trained by J. W. Lowe, and who was to have accompanied the pair, did not go. He suffered a split heel recently and the injury has _no_t made sufficient recovery to permit of his being raced nest week. H. Pritehard, with Royal Game, Shootist, Flower and possibly the Paper Money —Dame Winkie filly, leaves next Tuesday. Flower, who is to start in the Guineas,; and Shootist. will be ridden by S. Wilson, whose other engagements include St. Roger, Monsogne and perhaps Cimabue. H. Benge is also not leaving till Tuesday, -when ie will be taking Gay Court, Arrowzone and Valrewa. Benge states that H. Gray will not be riding Gay Court in the Maiden Race., as one of Mr. W. R. Kemball's horses (Aetaeon) is in the race.
