HORSES FOR AVON DALE.

RED LION GALLOPS WELL.

Owing to continuous heavy rain, fast. WOTk yesterday morning was restricted to the hurdle grass track, and the going was very heavr. The last two occupied 2Ss. Among those doing useful tasks on the inside tracks wore Te Homai, Pegaway, Leitrim, Illumination—Kiki gelding. Rose Lupin, Trishna, Shamgar. King's Knave, All Soult, Tuls, Tom Dolton, and the two-year-olds, Miss Lorraine and the Musketoon—Sibford gelding.
