TWO MEN AND A WOMAN CHARGED.

/ DAMAGE ALLEGED,

More was heard this morning about the eviction of tenants in a house in Hardinge Street last week, when two men and a woman were charged at the Police Court, on summons. The woman was charged with abetting two men in the commission of an offence, by wilfully damaging a house to the extent of £4 10/ by painting, in red paint, the words: "Stop the eviction. Xo work, no rent." Both men were charged "with encouraging lawlessness by painting the above words on the wall of the house. In all cases the hearing was adjourned until next Friday.
