PAEROA BEATS THAMES. PAEROA. Wednesday. The Paeroa Badminton Club met the representatives from the Thames Club In the Soldiers' Clubrooms, Paeroa, and were successful in defeating the visitors. Total: Paeroa 53, Thames 48. Doubles. —blisses Shand and Bellamy lost to Misses Carson and Flookes, B—ls,8 —15, 15—13, 9 —15; Mrs. Masters and Handley beat Misses Whelan and Hool, 15 —8, 15—3; Misses Gamble and Dunlop beat Misses Donaldson and Lyes, 17—15, 5—15, 15 Totals: Paeroa 99, Thanies 00. Grand Total.—Paeroa, 9 sets (152 points); Thames, 5 sets (13S- points). The following players will represent Paeroa Badminton Club against Waihi; — Misses V. Shand, J. Bellamy, R. Gamble, L.
