CAR OVERTURNS.
ON TRIP TO WHAN GAREI.
FOOTBALLER OCCUPANTS UNHURT.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
WHANGAREI, this day.
Five car loads of members of the Auckland Watersiders' League football team arrived this morning in Whangarei, en route to Hikurangi, where they are due to play against the Hikurangi seniors this afternoon. One of the cars had a mishap, overturning when rounding a bend a few miles out from Whangarei. Fortunately, no one was hurt, with the exception of a few minor glass cuts, and the car, although a good deal knocked about, was able to proceed under its own power to a garage, where repairs sufficient to enable it to continue were effected.
