WOMAN GIVES FALSE ADDRESS. The story of a woman begging in Remuera, and whose address, on investigation, proved to be false, is told by the Mayor of Newmarket, Mr. S. Donaldson. Her husband, she said, had been out of work for eighteen months and there was no money to pay his levy. She gave an address which was subsequently shown to be iictitious.
