AID FOR THE EVICTED.

HOSPITAL BOARD'S DECISION. The position of the men evicted from the men's shelter last evening was discussed by the relief committee ot the Auckland Hospital Board this morning, and it was decided to give them assistance until they get work. The chairman of the board, Mr. William Wallace, said that the men involved would be starting work with the Manukau County Council next week, and they would be given something to carry them over until they received their pay. The mission reserved the right to run the shelter as.it thought lit, and was determined to preserve order. Any man who did not behave himself would not 'be allowed to remain, and, of course, the board agreed with that attitude.
