CLUB DANCE.
St. Michael's Social Club held its second dance in the social hall, Beatrice Road, Remuera, on Tuesday evening. Graceful clusters of Iceland poppies, with Streamers, formed a gay background for the dainty frocks of the numerous dancers, whilst novelties gave enjoyment. The chaperons and hostesses of the evening were: Mrs. Melican, wine crepe do chine; Mrs. Foley, black ring velvet; Mrs. Kerr, navy crepe de chine; Mrs. Patterson, navy georgette; Mrs. Oddy, grey crepe de chine; Miss J. McLeay, figured ninon; Miss M. McCaffertv, burgundy crepe de chine, shawl to match; Mi£s B. Patterson, apple, green crepe de chine; Miss R. Young, black satin; Miss Oddy, black georgette and ring velvet coatee; Miss Mavis Kerr, pink satin and coatee to tone. Among those present were: Miss . Pat Patterson, blue georgette and silver lace; Miss V. Young, eau de nil crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss L. Pollard, shell pink georgette; Miss M. Vella, Naples blue crepe de chine; Miss E.
