A resident of Fairlie, Mr. Hariy Saunders, was found dead under a capsized car at Greys Hills Gorge, on the Haldon Road, Mackenzie Country, 38 miles from Fairlie, to-day. Mr. Saunders held a m&iMelivery contract between Fairlie and Haldon Station. He left Fairlie this morning on the trip. As lie usually reached Ins destination at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and had not arrived (it 4.30, n, search was mado and the car was found capsized, with Mr. Saunder's body under it. The road is a very narrow one, with only ono track and in winter is often frozen at the point where the accident occurred. Deceased, who was of middle-age, was married and bad a large family.
