ONE OF THE GRUMBLERS

"LIVING ON CHARITY."

"This man is living on charity, and is biting the hand that feeds him," said Sergeant Clark about Donald Mackenzie Cameron, a labourer (32), who was charged, at the Police Court to-day, with using obscene language. The sergeant said accused was one of three men at the City Mission shelter who had been creating a disturbance there on Saturday. He was cheeky, and had to be ejected. He used the bad language to witness in the street. Cameron was one of a number of men at the shelter who were given free meals and then complained about tlie food and the institution generally.
