RESULT OF MADRID STRIKE
MADRID, July 12,
The Madrid police hive discovered an audacious move by telephonists on strike, who for the past five days have intercepted important conversations by meflns of an illicit exchange in the centre of the city. The strikers tapped the lines to police headquarters, the banks, and newspaper oflices. Several ol them have been arrested.
