TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS.
MOTOR CYCLISTS HURT. COLLISIONS WITH VEHICLES. Mr. Thomas Thompson, aged 48, married, of Panmurc Road, Ellerslie, had his loft leg broken when his motor cycle collided with a motor van at the corner of Railway Street and Great South Road, Penrose, about 4.30 p.m. yesterday. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His motor cycle was damaged extensively. Facial injuries were received by Mr. E. Hopkins, of Kohimarama, as a result of his motor cycle colliding with a motor car at the intersection of Great South Road and Church Street, Otahuhu, yesterday afternoon. He was treated in the casualty ward at the Auckland Hospital. BOY INJURED. THROWN FROM BICYCLE. Injuries to the head and to cue eye were received by Noel John McNaughton, aged 10, of 2G, Picton Street, Ponsonby, when he Mas thrown from his bicycle in Picton Street this morning. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the hospital ambulance. His condition is not serious. VIOLENT COLLISION. A violent collision between a motor cycle and a motor car occurred at the intersection of Church Street, WestfieM, and the Great South Road at 1.30 p.m. yesterday. The car was driven by Mr. Joseph Schultz, and the motor cyclist was Mr. Joseph Hopkins, of Kohimarama. Both vehicles were badly damaged. The cyclist had a fortunate escape, receiving only a minor cut.
