POULTRY KEEPERS.
AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Auckland Poultrykeepers' Association was held last evening, Mr. A. Wood presiding. The balance-sheet disclosed a credit and it was reported that the quantity and prices of eggs had improved. Trophies and cups won were distributed, and it was stated that the winning birds in the reccnt tests were the highest type yet seen in the Dominion. In order to make the egg-laying competition at Mount Albert more interesting it was decidcd to add a two-bird contest to the usual one and three-bird tests. Mr. Wood was re-elected president.
