STATEMENT BY MR. FORBES. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. - The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, announced that owing to unexpected difficulties arising, the Unemployment Amendment Bill will not be introduced in the House of Representatives this afternoon. Certain aspects, lie said, had still to be finalised, and the measure would now make its appearance on Tuesday next.
