INJURIES PROVE FATAL.
NORTH AUCKLAND ACCIDENT. DEATH OP MR. J. A. HALLIDAY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANG AREI, this day. Mr. John Alfred Halliday, the victim of the bolting accident on Turntable Hill, Otiria, on Saturday, died in the Bay of Islands Hospital at two o'clock this morning. In addition to .fractures of the wrists, he suffered extensive internal injuries. Mr. Halliday was born at Pakaraka, Bay of Islands, and was a member of a highly respected pioneering family. He leaves a widow and a grown-up family. Mrs. D. White, Banks Street, Whangarei, is a daughter.
