HEARST OUTBURST.
Virulent Attack on France as World Menace. HOOVER PLAN DENOUNCED. LONDON, June 24. Mr. W. R. Hearst, the American newspaper owner, who is at present in London, has made a remarkable attack on France in the "Daily Express." Mr. Hearst prefaces his article by denouncing Mr. Hoover's proposal and pledges his newspapers to unending opposition to "this plan to plunder the American people." France, he says, is piling up gold until she has more per head than any other nation in the world. France does not cancel her debts, nor does she pay any, but is using the money thus misappropriated for building up a gigantic War machine. There will be no peace in Europe until France is compelled to cease creating wars. France should be haled before the Hi"-h Court of the World and be bound over to keep the peace, or suffer the violent consequences of those who live j by the sword.
