The Technical College Old Boys' Athletic Club will hold its first race of the harrier season . next • Saturday at Mission Bay-at 2.30' p.m. The race, a handicap, will consist "of-two circuits of a two-mile course, and members arc advised to bring their -running' shoes; in addition to their usual B On June 27 an liif.er-.clnb team race will he held with the Calliope Harriers at Mission Bay, at 2.30 p.m., the course being six niiles. The first six men home in each club will count for the winning team. Keen interest is being .attached to this race, as if will show the relative strength of each club for the Auckland championships. Both teams will be very evenly matched, the Technical Old Boys' includes Gordon Kells, 1.. C. Barker, S. J. Gudsell, G. Hill, T. M. Wilson, while- the Calliope Harriers have H. Rowland, Peter Byre, Clayton and Stan Andrews, in addition to other promising runners.
