PASTURE EXPERIMENTS.
PROGRESS AT RITAKITRA FARM STUDENTS OF EXCELLENT TYPE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The special pasture experiments king carried out at the Kuakura State iarm under the direction of Mr. A. Hudson, of the Plant- Eesearch Station, are progressing well, and are providing some useful information, Dr. C. J. KMKe*, Director of Agriculture, told a Mai representative yesterday. . ~ One point that had been special noted was that superphosphate appnei in June appeared to give the db> economic return compared with appuw tions at other periods of the year, iteffect being apparent right through m spring into the summer. The farm training school at K«^ u is. full to capacity, 48 students being in residence.
