PERSONAL.
Messrs. E. Lester and H. Shaw, of England, are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. T. C. Webster returned from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. J. A. C. Allum, chairman of the Transport Board, returned from Wellington yesterday. Messrs. G. Finn and 0. Mcßrine, members of the Unemployment Board, returned by the Limited this morning from Wellington. Mr. H. G. L. Noy, late senior surveyor of shipping at Dunedin, has taken up his residence in Auckland, where he is to act in a similar capacity. Mr. H. Sherman, of the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Corporation, has arrived from Australia, and will take up his residence in Auckland. Mr. W. R. Teape, associate to Mr. Justice Adams, has been admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court.
