NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
ENTRIES SET NEW RECORD. Palmerston North has set a new record in the number of entries for the National Dairy Show which opens there on Tuesday next.. Not since 1922 have exhibitors responded in such numbers as this year. Entries total 3440, which is 59 above the 1922 figures, and almost a hundred more than last year. During the past decade the lowest figure was 2646 in 1923, and only twice has it been less than 3000. The show is arranged by the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association, and will continue for five days. Particulars of the issue of excursion tickets in connection with the National Dairy Show at Palmerston North from June 16 to 20 are advertised by the 'Railway Department in this issue.
