FLUCTUATIONS IN SHARES. BUSINESS AGAIN QUIET. After a spell of activity business on the local Stock Exchange quietened down yesterday afternoon, and few sales have been added since last report. With fresh bidding at this morning's tjall there was a fair inquiry in the miscellaneous section, but with prices marked low by buyers. Colonial Sugars were Jightly easier, with sellers at £35. In banking, Australasias were in demand, with buyers at £9. In Government stocks there were several offerings. 4%'s were available at £93 10/ iind s%'s were offered at £99 10/ for the '33 issue, and at £99 7/6 for the 38 s. Buyers for Mount Eden debentures, 594 (1963) advanced their offers to £9/ 10, . The Noon Call. A fair number of sales were recorded at die noon call on the basis of late quotations. The firmness in Waihis continues »nd two sales were made at 15/9, a rise o IV'-d in a fortnight. Tax-free Bonds seemed a little easier, and a parcellot.3B s was offered, at £98 10/.
