MOTOR CAR CAPSIZES.
WOMAN PASSENGER KILLED.
ACCIDENT NEAR TTJAKAU
LITTLE GIRL UNHARMED.
Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Membery, aged 51, of 29. Epsom Avenue, Auckland, was killed in a motor car accident yesterday afternoon on the Pukekohe EastTuakau Road. The driver of the car, Mr. Henry Ashworth, of River Road. Tuakau, and Mrs. Membery 's daughter, j aged eight Tears, were uninjured. Dr. j L. J. Foreman Bull, of Pukekohe. was summoned, but Mrs. Membery was dead when he arrived. The party were beinz driven to Tua- ! kau from Auckland by Mi". Ashwortu. i When going down Red* Hill, the car got j out of control, ran into a bank at the side of the road, turned over twice and! came to rest in some scrub. Mrs. Menibery was sitting in the front sear, she was thrown out when the car first capsized and received injuries to her head and back. It is believed that her death was instantaneous. The little jyrl was still in the back seat of the car unharmed when it came to rest. An inquest was opened at Pukekohe yesterday and was adjourned sine die.
