MOUNT EDEN THEFT.
A thief visited the coal yard of C. Aickin and Sons, Ltd., at the corner of Boston and Normanby Roads, Mount Eden last night and ransacked the office. Entrance was effected by breaking a padlock and then using a jemmy on the door. Cupboards and drawers were ransacked in search of money, but all the intruder secured was the sum of 9d.
