MOTOR CYCLIST KILLED.
COLLISION WITH MOTOR CAR. riLLIOX-EIDER IN HOSPITAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A fatal accident occurred on the Wel-lington-Manawatu Road, near Glenside,. about 4.50 p.m. to-day. A motor cyclist, Alexander Basil Claude Devonport, a'ged 19, of Donnington Street, Palmerston North, collided with a car coming in the opposite direction, and was killed. A pillion-rider on the cycle, Arthur Hosking, who is believed to be a resident of Palmerston North, is in the Wellington Hospital, suffering from a fracture of the skull and a fracture of the right wrist.
