TWO AUCKLAND CUP VICTORIES. Te Kara, owned by Mr,. M. H. Tims, iii whose colours Karapoti races, recently died at Te By General LatOiu', out of March, Tc» Kara was responsible for some notable performances. Among them a ttcad heat with Muraalii -in the 192'4 Auckland Cup, which event he won in 192i>, besides being second in the New Zealand Cup lliat year to Tlie Banker. Te Kara nk'o won the Brisbane Cup and Avondalo Cup (1027), and second at Sydney TattcrsaU's meeting.
