CAUGHT BY FALLING LOG.

MAN SERIOUSLY INJURED. . (From Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, this day. Mr. J. J. Webb, of the National Timber Company, Ngongotaha, recently had a narrow escape from being crushed to death by a falling log. He was assisting to unload logs from a truck when the end of a log slipped and caught him across the back and right lo?-. Ho was rather seriously injured, but is now sufficiently recovered to get about with a stick.
