Australian Air Mail 'Plane at Akyab. FAST FLIGHT FROM LONDON. (Received 11.30 a.m.) DELHI, April 14. The experimental Australian air mail ] machine arrived at Calcutta at 10 o'clock this morning. It has averaged a speed of 115 miles an hour from London. The aeroplane left an hour later for Akyab, where it arrived at four in the afternoon. AIRSHIP SCRAPPED. FATE OF THE RIOO. . LONDON, April 14. Commenting on the future of airship RIOO, "about which nobody is certain," the "Daily Express" reveals that the airship is hanging on the steel cables used at Cardington. The entire envelope and engines have been removed, the passenger accommodation stripped, and the hydrogen plant, workshops and engine department completely closed.
