DERATING OF FARMS.
DEPUTATION TO COUNCIL. SUPPORT FOR SCHEME. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Tuesday. A strong deputation representing the Farmers' Union and ratepayers waited on the Waikato County Council to-day, and urged the derating of farm lands. The council decided to support the proposal.
