JOHNS VICTORIOUS. BEATS WHITLOW DECISIVELY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Giving a most finished exhibition of boxing Ilarrv Johns, the 19-year-old Aucklander, scored a clear cut win on points over Allen Whitlow (Arizona) at the Winter Show Stadium this evening. Whitlow went for a knock-out but, dancing about on his toes and evading brilliantlv, Johns allowed only three vicious right swings to land during the whole contest, while he darted in repeatedly to score points with both hands. There was only one possible verdict, and Johns received it with popular approval.
