The first of a series of lectures to be delivered bv the Education Department was broadcast from station 2YA, Wellington, yesterday afternoon. Addresses on nature studv and music were given by Mr 1.8. Strong, Director of Education, and Mr. Douglas Tayler, Director of Music, respectively. The pupils of the Edendale School were given an opportunity to listen-in to lectures, which were heard clearly. - •
