NORTHERN DAIRYING.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The pay-out of the Maungaturoto Dairy Company for March at lOd a lb for superfine was £3126, against £5332 for March, 1930, when the price was 1/. The total pay-out for the present season nas been £38,100, compared with £60,453 for the corresponding period last season. The output last month wag 41 tons, a decrease of 11 tons on that of the same month last year. The season's output to date has been 507 tons, against 514 tons for the corresponding period last season. Good rain has made pastures look excellent for the autumn. The New Zealand Co-operative dairy factory at Waimauku produced 45 tons last month, against 51 tons for March, 1930. The output from June 1, 1930, to March 31, 1931, has been 466 tons, against 443 tons for the same period of last season.
