SYMONDSVILLE STUDIO.
Symondsville Studio held it first social of this J'car on.Saturday evening. The ballroom has been transformed in Us decorations. Fairy lights and strands of glistening silver were used in profusion for the large chandeliers and a trellised pagoda set with goldand green furnishings and quaint green umbrellas, round the sides of the hall are fitted with soft rose-toned lights. Amongst those present were:—Miss Spencer, in apple green lace silk with shaded tulle, embroidered; Mrs. Spencer, leaf green and pink taffeta with peach pink silk coatee; Mrs. J. Barry, white 3a* ; n, hem and bolero of white lace; Mis-5 Marjorie Rowe, primrose taffeta; Miss Townsond, cherry velvet and ninon; Miss Sybil Kerr, shell pink chiffon and lace; Miss P. Grahame, black georgette, silver lace coatee; Miss Skelton, black ninon; Miss Jean Taylor, cameo pink satin and lace; Miss Hope-Johnston, ankle length gown of cherry satin; Miss N. Dyson, black lace; Miss Bews, blue lace, tulle yoke PV.A hem; Miss G. Bowen, amber ninon and lace; Miss Foley, bhie satin, tulle hem; Miss E. Fernandez, cherry red velvet and ninon; Miss Ray Wickham, green printed taffeta; Miss Betson, frilled gown of cornflower blue georgette; Miss Fuller, green crepe de chine and lace; Miss Jewitt, cameo p'nk embossed chenille; Miss B. Wheatley, lemon floral satin; Miss Bennie, ivory georgette and lace.
