AEROPLANE REPAIRED.

CRASH ON OPOTIKI BEACH. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. The Rotorua Airways Moth aeroplane which crashed recently on the Opotiki Beach has been repaired. It was successfully tested yesterday afternoon, when it was flown to Rotorua. The crash happened when the pilot attempted to land on the beach in the dark. Owing to the high tide, the 'plane •struck soft • sand and ttirned over on its .nose; smashing the propeller and damaging the tail. The pilot and Dr Wallace, of Rotorua, who was a passenger, escaped injury. . '
