STEADY GAIN.
CONDITION OF KING. Benefits from Summer-like Weather. HOURS AT THE WIRELESS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 11.30 a.m.) RUGBY, April 12. It was officially stated to-day that the King had had a good night, and that the improvement in his condition is being maintained. The doctors' satisfaction with the slow improvement His Majesty is making may be assumed from the fact that Lord Dawson of Penn, for the second day in succession, did not go to Windsor. The weather at the castle to-day was again fine and summer-like. His Majesty has been greatly benefited by the brilliant sunshine"of the last two days at Windsor. However, great care will be necessary, even when he has recovered. Queen Mary drives out daily, but arranges to be within reach of communication, and is not long absent from the castle. The King spends severr.l hours each day in searching Europe with a new wireless set. Princess Elizabeth and her baby sister are expected to come to Windsor to celebrate Princess Elizabeth's birthday on April 21. The Prince of Wales and Prince George should arrive in England about April 28 after visiting the King of Spain at Madrid, whence they will probably flv direct to Windsor.
