AMUSEMENTS.

PLAZA THEATRE. Those inimitable comedians, Bert Wheeler and Robert Woolsey are funnier than ever in their latest burlesque, "Hook, Line and Sinker," which -will be screened for a few more days at the Plaza Theatre. The girl's disappointed suitor informs a band of gangsters of the valuable jewellery possessed by the hotel guests, and a midnight raid is made by two rival groups. The manner in which the "proprietors" commandeer a machine gun and clear the house of its unwelcome guests provides much merriment, and brings the story to a happy ending. Dorothy Lee makes a charming heroine, aiid Jobyna Howland is again the object of Woolsey's fervent wooing as the wealthy widow. He plans to marry her so that he can further the romance between the younger couple. Natalie Moorhead, Ralf Harold and George Marion are also included in the cast.
