In the bogey match, at One Tree Hill on Saturday, L. B. Schnaner was successful in returning the excellent card of all square. Other good cards were those of J. W. Clarke and J. M. Rankin, who were each one down. PUPUKE CLUB. Members of the Pupuke Golf Club on Saturday played the first monthly medal round of the season. The bogey match over 12 holes, played by members of the Everslie Ladies' Golf Clu1« on Saturday, resulted in a tie between Mrs. M. Tilston and Miss S. Andre, with a score of 2 np. The play-off was won by Miss Andre. / A medal round over 12 holes will be 'played on Tuesday, players to choose partners. • FUTE BOGEY PERFORMANCE. PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP REPLAY. A fine exhibition of golf was given at Middlemore yesterday, when the provincial clinmpionship competition, four-ball, bestball bogey, in which W. N. Abbott and H. Black- drew with W. S. Ralph and R. G, Rainger. was played off. The fact that the winners, Abbott and Black, finishpd lO up on bogev, and their opponents 7 up. over 36 holes, speaks for itself. The morning round saw the winners 4 up and their opponents 2 up. but both pjfirs improved in the afternoon. Abbott and Black being 6 lip and the 'other pair 5 up. Black did a fine round of 72 in the afternoon, the other individual scores being Rainger <0 Ralph 77. and Abbott 79. Both Black and Ralph played off scratch, Abbott off -, and Rainger off 4. ONEWHERO CLUB. TTTAKAU, Saturday. The Onewhero Golf Club opened its season to-dav in fine weather. Visitors were present from the Pukckolie and Middlemore Clubs. Wilson, 06 —1-—44. ROTORUA.SEASON OPENED. ROTORUA. Sundav. The official opening of the Rotorua Golf Club's season was held to-day. when mixed foursomes were played. A total of 124 plavers took part. Thieves broke into the Rotorua High School on Friday, and the haul consisted of a small quantity of cash. CANTERBURY LADIES' TITLE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Saturday. The Canterbury women's golf championship final resulted in Miss O. Kay (Otagol defeating Miss S. Wafson (Palmerston -North), 4 up and 3 to play.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) HUXTLY, Saturday. A satisfactory position was disclosed in the report presented at the annual meeting of the Huutly Golf Club.
