TAUPIRI PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The annual meeting of the Taupiri branch of the Phmkct Society was held on Friday, when the chair was occupied by Mrs. E. Sowman. The election of officers resulted in Mrs. E. Sowman being re-elected president and Mrs. L. Powell secretary and treasurer. The member* elected to the committee were: Mesdamets G. Powell, een., Day, W. Moore, Richmond, Troup, F. Wilson, W. Waring and Mc. Kercher. The balance-sheet showed the branch to be in a healthy condition, over £33 being held to credit. In order to raise funds for the next year a bazaar was arranged to be held in October and a dance in April.
