PETER PAN CABARET.

The coolness of the evening made dancing a delightful pastime on Saturday evening, and there was a large attendance at the Peter Pan Cabaret. Blue lights shining through pink shades provided a novel effect, and harmonising flowers on the tables which surrounded tie floor added charm to the scene. The latest dance numbers were played by the band, who received many encores. -Among the dancers were:—Mrs. Harold Ward, who wore a frock of leaf green georgette, with fully flared skirt; Mrs. J. Erowning (Christchurch), embossed georgette, in silver and pink; Mrs. L. Thomas, orchid mauve ripple ninon, with floral spray to tone; Miss Val Peacocke, pastel green georgette, with flared skirt; Miss Phyllis Gash, frock of floral chiffon; Miss j.
