PETER PAN CABARET.

The coolness of the evening made dancing a delightful pastime on Saturday evening, and there was a large attendance at the Peter Pan Cabaret. Blue lights shining through pink shades provided a novel effect, and harmonising flowers on the tables which surrounded tie floor added charm to the scene. The latest dance numbers were played by the band, who received many encores. -Among the dancers were:—Mrs. Harold Ward, who wore a frock of leaf green georgette, with fully flared skirt; Mrs. J. Weeks, gold lame, with skirt of gold lace, and posy of orchids; Mrs. A. E. Moore, frock of black georgette, with frilled skirt; Mrs. Francis, black georgette, with scarlet flowers on shoulder; Mrg. £ Johnston. Saracen red taffeta, with gold bodice; Mrs. Andrews, flamecoloared georgette, with beaded embroideries; Mrs. L. Lewis, frock of black taffeta; Mrs. F. Williams (Wellington), gold lame, with skirt of black georgette; Mrs. A. Lawrence, frock of chiffon, -with.floral pattern; Mrs. Clinkard, jade green georgette, with gold embroideries; Mrs. Edgar Bartleet, frock of eau de nil preen satin; Mrs. Mark Davis, frock of black embossed georgette; Mrs. C. Erowning (Christchurch), embossed georgette, in silver and pink; Mrs. L. Thomas, orchid mauve ripple ninon, with floral spray to tone; Miss Val Peacocke, pastel green georgette, with flared skirt; Miss Phyllis Gash, frock of floral chiffon; Miss j.
