Stage Plays Not Mentioned in New British Bill. COUNCIL LICENSES. ■ t (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, April 10. The Sunday Entertainments Bill, which is soon to be introduced to the House of Commons, permits councils to license Sunday cinemas, debates, musical performances and exhibitions of animals or inanimate objects, but does not mention stage plays.
