LINKS OF EMPIRE.
DO YOU WANT A PEN-FRIEND? Mareretu. Dear Peter Pan,— I have noticed that from time to time Budget members have repeatedly asked for overseas P e^"^ .. Perhaps they would like to join the Links of Empire League, and to get a pen-friend in any British Dominion. To ioin, one must write to the secretary, Mrs! C. L. Bowling, Glytt House, Sussex Road, England, and state one's age, hobbies, etc. I am a member, and am now writing to the daughter of a Yorkshire schoolmaster. She writes such interesting letters, and I have a wonderful feeling of kinship with the Homeland that was somehow missing before, and that is the object of the league. I may add that anyone between the ages of 8 to 80 may join, to quote Mrs. Bowling, but she says that they allow quite a lot of latitude on either side. Yuyrs sincerely, NANCY BURKE.
