At the annual meeting of the Waihi women's branch cf the New Zealand Farmers' Union, Mrs. Drinkwater presided, and the election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mrs. Drinkwater; vice-presidents, Mesdames Blackmore and Hands; committee, Mesdames Drinkwater, Hughes, Hands and Blackmore; housekeeper auxiliary committee, Mesdames Drinkwater and Hands; secretary, Mrs. Hughes.
