JOCKEY FINED.
INTOXICATED IN , CAR. ANOTHER MOTORIST ALSO DEALT ; . . WITH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) .- WELLINGTON, this day. • Reginald James Mackie (32), a jockey, and Leonard Norman Williams (36) each pleaded guilty to-day to being intoxicated while in charge of motor cars, and Avere each fined £20.' Their, driving licenses were also cancelled, ; Mackie's,for six months and Williams' for twelve months. The magistrate refused to entertain a plea for the suppression of Mackie's name because of what the Racing Conference might do. It was no concern, of the Court's, said, Mr. T. B. McNeil, S.M.
